Hello friends, in this article I will be guiding you about
what steps you can take in order to achieve higher levels of productivity, I will
be guiding you on how to achieve more goals in shorter period of time.
In this video I will be talking about the first 120 minutes
and by this I mean what do you do with the first 120 minutes of your day. This
will be a clear indicator of where you are headed in your life. The task is
very simple you have to pen down all the goals that you have in life, and if
you see that you are spending the first 120 minutes of your day doing tasks
that will help you in achieving the main goal of your life then you are doing
the right thing.
If you are not doing so the task of achieving your goals gets tougher, and therefore it is advisable to give your first 2 hours to your main aim in life.
As you all know I am a teacher, I spend the first two hours
of my day studying, I read the chapters again and again, I work on my books and
I prepare notes or charts which will be needed in the class later. This helps
me increase the output that I have during the day manifold.
It has been proven by various studies that the time taken in
the first 120 minutes of the day is one third of the time it would take to do
the same task in evening or in the afternoon and therefore you should always try
to do the task in the morning itself.
Let us assume that you are a student, so the first two hours
of your day should be spent in studying, on the other hand what you actually do
is, rush to coaching in the first two hours of the morning, now although you
will be learning something or the other you spent a major part of your 120
minutes involved in someone else’s time, if you had spent the same two hours
studying yourself and then going to the coaching, then the productivity would
have been 3 times.
As a student you can also start with the subject that you
find the hardest, you will be able to sole it much faster, also try to keep the
first two hours of the day distraction free, and try to remain focused on your
work during them, this will definitely help you in scoring better in the exams.
